I was in the same situation as you and I luckily chose a trip to Barton Creek Cave, whcih has turned out to be a wonderful experience.The trip starts with a 1 and a half hours' drive and then you take a canoe trip (isn't that exciting?) inside the cave (also abot 1 -1 and a half hours). The cave is quite large and is so silent in there. I remember paying 30$, but you have to go on a group of at least 3. You can ask a any local tour operators.
