general in response to sasha's question: I've heard about Placencia, in Belize. What is so special about this place?(give a different answer) .
Placencia is a former Creole fishing village situated 30 miles south of Dangriga. It's a small seaside community where marinelife is very rich and where people spend a lot of time fishing. The surrounding area has a lot to offer, and the island itself really is attractive, with its clear waters and sandy beaches.
